My journey to Russell Property Consultants started at Vickery Holman in Plymouth as a graduate surveyor, exposed to various sectors of the profession. I eventually landed within the agency team, covering; offices, investment, retail and industrial. I quickly learnt I had a passion for agency, and decided to specialise within the industrial sector making the move to Bristol.
I joined Knight Frank, where I gained my MRICS and continued to work within the South West industrial and logistics sector. During this time I was exposed to a range of clients and gained experience in the various consultancy processes within the Industrial & Logistics sector. I learnt the benefits of working with colleagues, notably the Investment team, lease advisory and building departments gaining valuable understanding of working as a team to assist clients in maximising the assets potential. I was offered the opportunity to lead BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Industrial & Logistics team in the South West. A challenge I was eager to pursue and approach from my experience in the industry to date. I was with BNP Paribas Real Estate for 6 years. I held a combined role, as Head of the Bristol Office and South West Industrial & Logistics offering. The challenge of developing the strategy and team over the years provided valuable experience. However the lure of joining Rob and Chris at Russell Property Consultants was too strong!

Achievements (Personal):
A proud husband and father to 2 children, living in Somerset with our 2 dogs. Exposed to a country lifestyle and community, we enjoy gardening and cooking in the household. Trying to ensure my children are exposed to the mighty Newcastle United remains an essential weekend objective!
My upbringing provided opportunity to play a wide range of sports, something which I remain passionate about. I settled on playing competitive hockey on a regular basis, with the last few years at Old Bristolians. The profession certainly doesn’t assist my fitness, but I enjoy playing. During my youth I played rugby and cricket at schoolboy and club level, whilst my dad still convincingly beats me at squash. Running, road cycling, swimming and going to the gym are past times I continue to enjoy throughout the year.
